Ratings: ‘K-E-Z’ and KSLX continue to dominate

K-E-Z” and KSLX each lost listeners but remain metro Phoenix’s most popular radio stations, according to the latest Nielsen Audio ratings. Both stations continue to lead the rest of the pack by healthy margins.

Classic hits KOOL also lost audience share, but stayed at #3, though its now tied with “Mix,” which gained. KUPD lost significant audience share and dropped to #6.

In the battle of the country giants, “Camel Country” edged up, while KNIX declined. On the talk front, KTAR dipped slightly to remain at #9, while KFYI held steady at #13, just ahead of public radio station KJZZ.

The Mountain” re-entered the top 10 at #8. Falling to #11 was mainstream top 40 “Live,” which on June 1 changed its call letters from KZON to KALV.

These results represent radio listeners age 6 and older during an average quarter hour from 6 a.m. to midnight daily.
