“Good Grief” by the English band Bastille moves into #1 on the Rock n Roll for Grownups chart.
Wilco jumps 10 spots to #38 with “If I Ever Was A Child” from their new album Wilco Schmilco (obviously a nod to 1972’s Nilsson Schmilsson, for all you youngsters).
“Take It From Me” (#47) by Kongos, the band of brothers from Paradise Valley, is about to drop off the chart. The song, also a national rock hit, has spent 16 weeks on the Phoenix 50 and peaked at #5.
Sturgill Simpson debuts with his unique version of Nirvana’s “In Bloom” (#45). It’s the follow-up single to his breakthrough hit, “Brace For Impact (Live A Little).” Other new songs this week are “San Quentin” (#48) by Nahko & Medicine For The People, “Let Love Be (With U)” (#49) by Kula Shaker, and “Had 2 Know (Personal)” (#50) by White Denim.
