“Cleopatra” makes it back-to-back #1 songs for the Lumineers on the Rock n Roll for Grownups chart, following the massive success of “Ophelia.”
New this week are three “throwback” sounding songs:
- Americana darlings Jamestown Revival is reminiscent at times of John Lennon on “Love Is A Burden” (#46);
- Southern Culture On The Skids channels early Jefferson Airplane on “Grey Skies” (#47);
- Eliot Sumner sounds suspiciously like her dad Sting on “After Dark” (#50).
However, this week’s Bullet (a brand new song with hit potential) is by a true original — Van Morrison, who sings “Too Late.”
