Adult contemporary “K-E-Z” ticked upward in audience share, winning the metro Phoenix radio crown for the eight straight monthly ratings period, which covered May 21 to June 17.
Classic rock KSLX, rising to #2, showed a large increase in audience share, while classic hits KOOL experienced an equally large loss. All the remaining stations in the top 10 suffered losses, except adult hits “The Mountain,” which produced a strong upward bounce in audience share.
Both country powerhouses, KNIX and “Camel Country,” lost equal amounts in audience share and continued locked in a close race.
