“Hope The High Road” by Jason Isbell & The 400 Unit jumps to #1 on the Rock n Roll for Grownups chart. The former member of Drive-by Truckers hit the top after only five weeks.
Moving into the top 10 are two veteran artists: Sheryl Crow with her plead for mutual respect called “Halfway There” (#9), and John Mellencamp with the social commentary “Easy Target” (#10) and its “flip side,” the more light-hearted “Grandview” featuring Martina McBride.
Biggest mover, up 10 spots, is “The Night We Met” (#37), a 2015 song by Lord Huron that’s been revived thanks to the Netflix series 13 Reasons Why.
This week’s highest debut song is “Can I Sit Next To You” (#46) by Spoon, the follow-up to their former #1 “Hot Thoughts” (#26).
