Former Led Zeppelin singer Robert Plant moves into the #1 spot with “Bones Of Saints” and “The May Queen.” The songs were released practically simultaneously, so we’re listing them together, just like the “double-sided” singles of the old days.
Entering the top 10 is eccentric musician St. Vincent (real name: Annie Clark) with “Los Ageless” (#9) from her fifth album Masseduction.
Three new debuts:
- “Pain” (#45) by The War On Drugs, the follow-up to their #1 song “Holding On.”
- “Busload Of Faith” (#49) by Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee Bob Seger, his rendition of a song written by another Hall of Famer, Lou Reed;
- “Wild And Reckless” (#50) by Portland band Blitzen Trapper.
