“K-E-Z” is the most popular station in metro Phoenix for the sixth straight time, according to the latest Nielsen Audio ratings. The adult contemporary colossus significantly widened its lead over runner-up KSLX.
For the second straight month, the same stations made up the top 10 with little movement. The biggest change: “Mix” dropped from #3 to #6. As a result, KNIX, “Kiss FM” and KUPD each moved up a notch.
Public radio “K-Jazz” (KJZZ) remained in 11th place, one step ahead of talker KTAR. Former conservative powerhouse KYFI continued to decline, sliding to #19. “Arizona Sports” (KMVP) showed a healthy gain in audience share and climbed from #25 to #18.
