Ratings: KSLX pulls away from ‘K-E-Z’

| RADIO |

For the fourth consecutive month, KSLX is the top station in metro Phoenix, according to the latest Nielsen Audio ratings. Not only that, the classic rocker increased its audience share by more than a full ratings point — typically unusual, especially for the top station.

Interestingly, its stellar advancement was matched exactly by sister station “Alt,” which jumped from #9 to #6. Coincidentally, KOOL lost audience share by the same margin and dropped to a third-place tie.

It was another great ratings period for Hubbard Broadcasting as it once again achieved a triple crown victory in the demographics most watched by advertisers: KSLX was #1 overall, “Alt” was #1 among 18-to-34-year-olds, and KUPD was #1 among 25-to-54-year-olds.

Further down the rankings, “Live” returned to the top 10, while talker KTAR fell to #12.
