Classic rock KSLX extended its streak of ratings victories to seven in the latest Nielsen Audio radio ratings for metro Phoenix. Adult contemporary “K-E-Z” held at #2, solidly poised to vault to the top as its annual switch to Christmas music programming begins to register.
Meanwhile the new 1980s/1990s version of classic hits KOOL bounded up four spots to #3. Active rock KUPD showed a sharp decline in audience share, slipping to #4. The rest of the top 10 held more or less steady with only tiny movement in audience shares.
Below the top 10, both Mexican regional rivals gained listeners, with KLNZ (“Radio Tricolor“) moving up to #12 and KHOT (“Que Buena“) tied at #13.
