Longtime runner-up KSLX has moved into a tie with perennial champ “K-E-Z” in the latest Nielsen Audio ratings for metro Phoenix. Both stations have a healthy lead over third-place KOOL.
The rest of the top 10 held remarkably steady in the rankings. The only changes: KNIX moved ahead of rival “Camel Country” and “Live” slipped back into the top 10 — replacing talker KTAR, which landed at #12 just ahead of chief competitor KFYI.
Regional Mexican outlet “Que Buena” (KHOT), which last time bounded up from #20 to #12, continued to improve its audience share and climbed to #11.
Looks like the arrival of new morning man Ian Camfield may have helped “Alt AZ” (KDKB) reverse a three-book decline. The alternative rocker moved up to #18, scoring its highest audience share since December.
