Ratings: Phoenix stays KOOL

Classic hits KOOL was the most popular radio station for the second straight month as it continues to add listeners, according to the latest Nielsen Audio ratings for metro Phoenix.

Adult contemporary “K-E-Z” likewise increased its share of the audience and climbed to #2. Last month’s runner-up, country KNIX, lost significant ground and dipped to #3.

Other stations gaining audience share included KFYI, KUPD and “Kiss FM,” which all tied at #6. “Camel Country” also strengthen its numbers and climbed back into the top 10, replacing adult hits “The Mountain.”
