“Carry On” by Norah Jones jumps from #5 to #1 on the Rock n Roll for Grownups chart. Green Day also makes a big move within the top 10 (#8 to #3) with the politically charged “Bang Bang.”
Three songs debut this week, reflecting a diversity of styles:
- Jam-band kings Phish have a new album, Big Boat, featuring the lead single, “Breath And Burning” (#47);
- Madeleine Peyroux is back with “Everything I Do Gohn Be Funky (From Now On)” (#49), a song written by the late New Orleans legend Allen Toussaint;
- Aussie duo Empire of the Sun score with the electronica-based “High And Low” (#50).
